Graduate+ Excellence Scholarships are now open. International students wishing to pursue a research-oriented Master's degree in France can apply for these prestigious scholarships. The deadlines are January 26, 2026, for the LPMS track and January 23, 2026, for the NEURO track (M2).
Graduate+ is a consortium of four universities in the Lyon-Saint-Étienne region: Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, ENS Lyon, Jean Moulin University, and Jean Monnet University. The consortium offers about fifteen Master's programs and awards scholarships to support students' living expenses. Recipients receive a monthly stipend.
1. LPMS Excellence Scholarship
Deadline: January 26, 2026
The Lyon Polymer Materials Science (LPMS) program trains students to innovate in sustainable polymer design, covering topics such as macromolecular synthesis, smart materials, and eco-friendly approaches. The 2026 call targets candidates wishing to join the second year of the Master's program (M2).
Funding and Grants
- Amount: €1,000 per month for 6 months (totaling €6,000).
- Application Period: November 14, 2025, to January 26, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an international student residing outside France, new to the French higher education system.
- Must have completed the first year of a Master's program by July 31, 2026, in polymer science or a related field.
- Candidates with dual French nationality can apply if they are not already studying in France.
Selection Criteria
Academic excellence, research experience (internships), and coherence of the professional project.

Eligibility Criteria (M2)
- The applicant must be an international student residing outside France and has never been enrolled in a French university.
- Must have completed the first year of a Master's degree by September 1, 2026, with at least 9 ECTS credits in English, or a certified B2 level.
Requirements by M2 Track
- M2 FCN (Fundamental and Clinical Neurosciences): ≥ 6 ECTS credits in neurosciences or related disciplines.
- M2 SNA (Sensory Neurosciences and Analysis): ≥ 6 ECTS credits in neurosciences or related fields.
- M2 CNS (Computational Neurosciences): Strong training in mathematics/computer science/physics/engineering, including:
