Chevening is a prestigious UK government-funded international scholarship program. Eligibility criteria:
You will be qualified for the Chevening Scholarship program when you meet the below requirements:

- Be willing to return to your home country and stay there for a minimum of two years.
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Have at least two years of work experience (2800 hours).
- Apply and receive an unconditional offer from a UK university before July 9, 2026 (applications can be submitted before receiving offers).
- While English language testing is not required for Chevening Scholarship application, universities typically require a specific language certificate, i.e., IELTS or TOEFL, with certain scores as the minimum requirement for final admission.

- Any full-time employment.
- Part-time working experiences.
- Volunteering activities.
- Unpaid or paid internships.
The Chevening Scholarship scheme is entirely inclusive and does not take into consideration your gender, age, religion, marital status, social class, or any other personal characteristic. Your eligibility is entirely based on your merit and qualifications.

Documents Needed for Chevening Scholarship Application:
- Passport
- Degree certificate or official transcript indicating you have a bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Certificates of work experience (letters of recommendation from employers or supervisors)
- Statement of purpose or motivation letter (explaining your academic and professional goals)
- Letters of recommendation (usually 2 letters from professors or supervisors)
- English language certificate (if required by the university you are applying to)
- Unconditional offer from a British university (must be submitted before the specified deadline)
- Any other document that is required by the scholarship or the university you're applying to.

The Chevening programme allows you to choose three different options. These can be three different courses at one institution or three similar courses in up to three universities.
